Ok wow. I never dreamed I’d be a part of a horror anthology but bruhaaaaa I am.
It’s called A Season in Carcosa and is edited by Joe Pulver and published by Miskatonic River Press. It includes an amazing array of writers all with a different take on the genre. Inspired by an obscure series of stories called “The King in Yellow” by Robert Chambers, it stretches horror into uncharted territory.
Here’s a process note I wrote about my particular contribution called “Whose Hearts Are Pure Gold” which is kind of a cross between Kill Bill and Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
